Even during a bear market, Crypto spot trading volume (CEX and DEX) in 2022 was $12 Trillion, our of which around $1.2 Trillion was traded on DEXes. At its peak (2021) the Spot traded volume reached $22.3 trillion, out of which $1.8 trillion was traded on Dexes (Source: Coingecko).
Within the Dex world, Uniswap (Uniswap V3) has the lion share of the volume, accounting for 60-65% of the total Dex trade volume in 2022 and 2023 (Source: coingecko)
This is why we have decided to integrate first with Uniswap V3: ample cross-chain volume and liquidity, and being a battle tested secure protocol. The V3 version (concentrated liquidity)additionally opens up many opportunities to generate better yields but at the same time add significant complexity in respect to the usage of the platform
UniswapV3 is being deployed in several EVM chains (Mainnet, Arbitrum, Optimism, Base, BSC, etc) which gives us a great direction when thinking about expansion and time-to- market.
We use our Lending Module prime to build different type of leveraged strategies on Uniswap V3:
Leverage Farming: 3-4x long on your chosen Uniswap V3 liquidity pool, using our automated range optimisation bot that keeps the liquidity range on max APR levels.
Pseudo Delta Neutral farming: Have exposure to leveraged liquidity mining on Uniswap V3 pools while hedging the effects of impermanent loss via rebalancing. These vaults use AI predictive models that allows a dynamic rebalancing of the positions (Debt + Equity).
Delta 1 Directional: Leveraged liquidity farming on Uniswap V3 with a 1 x Delta on the underlying non stable token. Automated rebalancing bots brings back the position to the 1 x Delta when certain price movements occur.
All the vaults that borrow funding from Prime are governed by our Leverage management keeper bot, that automatically manages the debt positions and leverage ratios.
